As a big fan of Julianne Moore (loved her performance in the very hard role of a suicidal mother abandoning her child for Canada in The Hours and more recently as linguistic professor with Alzheimer’s disease in Still Alice – it still haunts me), I really loved this great behind-the scene article on Julianne Moore.
Her motto (Flaubert’s dictum) says a lot about her
“Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work”.
I was not surprised to read that she is
“absolutely neurotic about cleaning”.
Favorite part of the article: when Julianne Moore explains that
she may be an idol to the public but to her 13 y.o. daughter “I’m in idiot, let’s put it that way”.
