Melody Doering, 64, works 2 days a week at the American Museum of Natural History, in NY, preparing bees for storage in the research collection.
Her job is to “get the bees looking as much like themselves as possible, which means washing, drying and brushing their matted fur.”
With her steady hands and eye for detail, she operates the bee salon.
“My hair weaves are just amazing!’
Pampering No. 1 and admiring her work:
“She’s stay like that for the next hundred years, or more, one hopes”
Who can think of a better part-time job once retired?
