It was nice to hear Billie Jean King’s story from herself here on TED before the movie Battle of the Sexes came out. Gosh, what she says makes so much sense, in a just a straight forward way.

I actually got interested into the movie, one more time, because of this short article in the New Yorker and discovered it’s from the directors of “Little Miss Sunshine” Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. I have to say that now that I’ve seen the movie, I’m a bit disappointed by Emma Stone’s (and Steve Carell) performance.  I guess, once you’ve heard the story from the hero(in) herself, it’s hard to embody it.
