We all get these pictures of Obama popping in our social feeds, in a timely fashion to Trump’s latest provocation. It now all makes sense: Pete Souza, his official photographer at the White House, is trolling Trump on his 1.5m followers Instagram account.
No words, just posting timely and sensibly images of Obama eg.
When Trump declined to throw the first pitch at the Washington Nationals’ home opener, in March, Souza shared a photograph of Obama winding up.
When Melania Trump swatted away her husband’s hand, in May, Souza posted a picture of Barack and Michelle’s fingers intertwined.
Last month, when Trump claimed that Obama hadn’t called the families of fallen U.S. soldiers, Souza posted a picture of the former President and First Lady consoling a family whose son was killed in Afghanistan.
The fireside chat took place at the Adobe Summit in Las Vegas and the only product plug was the story behind publishing the image of Obama & Clinton in the Situation room during Bin Laden raid that contained a classified document on the table, when Photoshop was used to pixelize the document.
“I love what you’re doing to Trump on Instagram,” one woman told him.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Souza replied
Thank you Mr Souza for what you’re doing and for your modesty.
